What to Expect
At Southwest Marble and Granite Works we would be delighted to have you as a customer. If you decide to purchase any type of stone installation for your home or business, this page describes what you can expect from Southwest Marble and Granite Works as a service provider.
A realistic cost per square foot for an average 3cm granite kitchen installed with a full bullnose or equivalent edge, using an undermount sink, is approximately $65.00 - $70.00/square foot installed. This average will give the homeowner several choices in both stone color and the edge profile.
We do not price by levels or set square footage prices. Each job will be worked up custom based upon your dimensions provided and based on such factors as: complexity of your job, thickness and type/color of stone selected, edge profile chosen, whether or not you are using a self-rimming sink or an undermount, whether or not you are using granite backsplashes, etc.
An inexpensive 2cm granite, using a self-rimming sink, no splashes and a simple edge can be installed for as little as $45.00/square foot.
The average installation takes about four weeks from the time we are notified that your job is ready to be measured. However, in some cases it is possible to finish the job sooner. Ask us, it is possible!
Select your stone from over 200 different types of Granite, Marble, Travertine, Limestone, Onyx, and Slate in stock. There are over 2000 slabs to choose from, including exotic and rare stones found nowhere else in Central Texas.
While there are several fabricators in the Austin Area that do acceptable work, you will not find better quality or craftsmanship anywhere else.
Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will assist you in choosing the material that is that just for your job. Customer satisfaction has always been our first priority.
All work is fabricated in our modern 6000 square foot facility. We do not subcontract out any work. All plant and installation personnel exhibit the most professional standards.
All stone materials are sealed before it leaves the plant and then resealed once the installation is completed. In most cases, our stone materials do not require resealing after installation.
We are proud members of professional associations such as The Marble Institute of America, the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, and the Better Business Bureau. Is the competing stone fabricator a member of these organizations? If not...why not?
